Description
Mutton Cloth or Stockinette is a versatile fabric that Morelli has sold for many years as a cloth for a multitude of uses in the workshop environment and was around way before the tissue products used today. The name mutton cloth comes from its original use in the butcher’s trade for wrapping meat or mutton.
The white cloth can vary in quality and we supply a softer grade usually used today for polishing or cleaning cars in a more traditional environment as microfiber cloths have pretty much replaced it for high end car cleaning applications. The cloth is absorbent and remains strong when wet so should not be ruled out as a cost effective multi-purpose cloth in a workshop.
