Designed for use in laboratory, industrial or education applications, the Ohaus Scout Pro™ features easy-to-use four-button operation, large backlit LCD display, multiple weighing units, four application modes, and the option of either RS232 or USB connectivity, the Scout Portable™ is the portable balance for all your needs with superior overload protection, rated at 10 times the capacity of the balance.
It features multiple weighing units including grams, kilograms, pounds, ounces, a combined pound: ounce display, troy ounces and penny-weights. The Scout Pro also has multiple application modes: parts counting, percentage weighing, totalization, check weighing and display hold. The high-contrast LCD display combined with four key operation makes the Scout Portable a snap to operate. It also has USB or RS232 connectivity (the quickly-installed option with integral cable allows data connection to PC or printer). The unit is easy to clean with a removable stainless steel weighing platform and sealed front panel help keep the unit safe from spills. It is battery or AC powered, using 4-AA batteries (not included) or the Scout Pro can be run on the included AC adapter. The integral weigh-below hook is critical for density or specific gravity determination.
