Product Description 

 

  • Used for heavy duty construction work to fix wood to wood or metal to wood.
  • Have a hexagonal head and, therefore, require a wrench or socket spanner to be tightened or unscrewed.
  • Manufactured from mild steel.
  • The galvanizing coating gives it extra protection against rust.
  • Coach screws have broad heads, preventing them from pulling into the wood.
  • Broad heads enable them to compress substrates together.
  • A good choice fastener for joints that see heavy use.

 

Extra Information

 

  • Require pilot holes, no matter the type of wood, 2mm smaller than the size Coach Screw used.
  • Never over tighten Coach screws as they can break off.
  • Can also be used in conjunction with wall plugs for anchoring heavy objects, such as TV arms or satellite dishes to walls.
