The PROCAP series capacitance probes use advanced integrated circuit technology operating at low frequency to achieve both high sensitivity and stable calibration. The probe uses a simple timing technique that compares the discharge time of the probe capacitance to that of a reference capacitance. Calibration stability, along with static discharge survival, and RF immunity due to low, 6 KHz operation below FCC regulations, are the three main reasons why these sensors perform so well. Features an LED status light, triple-threaded screw off cover, dual conduit entries, DPDT relay controls, selectable fail-safe protection, FDA recognized powder coat finish, shielded bare stainless steel, 24″ probe, ¾” SS and 1¼” aluminum fittings standard. Hazardous location approved, CAN/US listed for Class II, Groups E, F, G.
Calibrating PROCAP series sensors is simple and precise with a Quick-Set design for two single turn potentiometers, one for setting the empty vessel and the second to set the desired sensitivity for the vessel material. Sensors are available with Universal power supply for voltages between 24V–240V AC/DC or in a selectable AC voltage of 115V or 230V. Ship wt: 8 lbs, Ship dims: 25″ (L) x 11″ (W) x 11″ (H).
