Description
Baileys Fibreglass Gel Coat Brilliant White is a standard viscosity white isophthalic brushing polyester gelcoat which has a high grade of UV stabilisation. Ideal for general purpose, high quality moulding gelcoat and for hand lay-up in GRP work. Apply by brush, with excellent opacity & whiteness. The product exhibits excellent weathering properties and water resistance once dry. Application should be in workshop temperatures between 16 – 23°C and requires the addition of 2%medium activity MEKP (supplied) for a sufficient cure. For best results, the gelcoat should be applied to a clean, polished mould in one even layer 400 – 500 microns (0.4 – 0.5 mm thickness) Gel time approximately 15 minutes with a touch cure time of less than 90 minutes, dependant on conditions.
