3M’s Orange Dry Guide Coat helps to find pinholes in body filler and deep scratches in primer by detecting the smallest surface imperfections during the dry primer sanding process. Requiring no masking before use, it can be used for both wet and dry sanding due to the lack of dry time post-application.

When sanding polyester filler, Dry Guide Coat’s role is to ensure the filler is flat without ripples or body styling lines, and that the contours are straight and correct. This in turn ensures that the entire primed area is sanded prior to top coat application. Solvent free.
