Description

SGA research into oil pump drive coupling failures has identified one or more common oil pump coupling failures being caused by the relatively large difference between the sizes of the square driving and driven shafts, and the ID of the coupling in some or most cases.  The couplings must be sized for the largest square, but one or both male driving ends may be much smaller squares.
